$7,500 Grant to Ohio County Equestrian, Inc.

The Weedman Family Charitable Giving Fund is pleased to announce a $7,500 grant to Ohio County Equestrian, Inc. This award supports an organization that celebrates one of Kentucky's most beloved traditions while creating meaningful community experiences for Ohio County residents of all ages.

Honoring Kentucky's Equestrian Heritage

Kentucky and horses are inseparable. From the rolling bluegrass pastures to the world-famous Kentucky Derby, the horse is woven into the fabric of our state's identity and economy. Ohio County Equestrian, Inc. carries that tradition forward at the local level — providing programming, events, and opportunities for community members to connect with equestrian culture.

For many Ohio County families, equestrian activities represent more than a hobby. They are a way of life, a source of pride, and a connection to the land and heritage that defines this region.

What This Grant Will Support

The $7,500 grant to Ohio County Equestrian, Inc. will help the organization:

• Expand community programming that introduces more residents to equestrian activities
• Support youth participation by reducing barriers to entry for young riders
• Enhance facilities and equipment to ensure safe, quality experiences for participants
• Grow community events that celebrate Ohio County's equestrian heritage

Cultural Enrichment as Community Investment

At the Weedman Family Charitable Giving Fund, we believe that cultural enrichment is not a luxury — it is a necessity. Communities that celebrate their heritage, support the arts, and provide diverse recreational opportunities are more vibrant, more cohesive, and more attractive to families and businesses.

Ohio County Equestrian, Inc. contributes to that cultural richness. By supporting their work, we are investing in the unique character that makes Ohio County a special place to call home.

We congratulate Ohio County Equestrian, Inc. on this grant and look forward to seeing the community impact of their continued work.

Together, we are building a vibrant future.
